In the winter of 2014, the journey began with a newspaper announcement about leasing an old trout farm near Sarrion Township. This farm had been dormant for nearly 15 years, but with a vision to create a sanctuary for sturgeon, our team embarked on a comprehensive reconstruction project. The transformation involved upgrading hydro stations, installing warm water pipelines and pumps, and implementing a state-of-the-art water treatment system.

Additionally, we created a wintering zone with water temperatures maintained at a precise +3 degrees. These enhancements enabled us to replicate the seasonal temperature variations found in the wild, as well as flow rates that mimic natural river currents.
